Jalaun: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a fiery attack on the Samajwadi Party (SP) and its leadership during a public rally in Jalaun, declaring that the BJP government has ended the era of appeasement and lawlessness.
Targeting SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, Yogi said, *“Those who see communalism in the saint tradition consider rioters as messengers of peace. But the double-engine government has fixed the place of such so-called peace ambassadors.”
In a strong statement that drew loud applause, he added,“This government does not rub its nose in front of rioters, it makes rioters rub their noses.”
Rs 1,900 crore development boost for Jalaun
The Chief Minister gifted 305 development projects worth over Rs 1,900 crore to the people of Jalaun and honoured beneficiaries of various welfare schemes. Wishing the public ahead of Diwali, he reiterated the government’s commitment to safety of daughters, prosperity of farmers, protection for traders, and employment for youth.
“If we are divided, we suffer; if we stay united, we stay safe”
Warning people against divisive politics, Yogi said: “Bantenge to katenge, ek rahenge to safe rahenge.”
(If we divide, we suffer; if we stay united, we stay safe.)
He accused SP of promoting casteism, anarchy and shielding criminals. “Beware of SP’s hooliganism. They try to create caste conflicts and disturb harmony,” he said.
“SP turned social justice movement into a mafia hub”
Yogi said the ideals of Dr. Lohia and other socialist thinkers were betrayed by today’s SP. “Before 2017, people used to say—‘Look, SP men are coming, daughters are scared.’ The vehicle with an SP flag meant a goon was inside,” he said, accusing SP of looting ration, jobs and development.
He highlighted that under BJP rule:
2 crore youth got employment in MSME sector
60 lakh jobs guaranteed through big investments
Zero tolerance policy against mafia
Festivals now peaceful, not disrupted by riots
The CM said earlier SP governments engineered riots before festivals, but now festivals are celebrated safely.
“This double-engine government ensures security and respect. Rioters no longer decide the mood of festivals.”

“No place for mafia in UP anymore”
Yogi assured strict action against those who exploit farmers, women or traders. “Today, if anyone dares to grab land or harm daughters, the ‘Yamdoot’ (messenger of death) will be waiting at the next intersection,” he warned.
He added that UP has transformed from a ‘BIMARU’ (backward) state to the growth engine of India and that now youth get jobs within the state.
Call for public participation in ‘UP Vision 2047’
The CM urged citizens to contribute suggestions for the ‘Vision Document UP-2047’, aimed at building a developed and self-reliant Uttar Pradesh. “UP will develop only when Jalaun develops,” he said.
Emotional connect with local heritage
Recalling Jalaun’s spiritual and historical legacy—from sages to freedom fighters and hand-made paper artisans—Yogi said the government is committed to transforming the region’s fertile lands and infrastructure through projects like Bundelkhand Expressway and Panchanada development.
Honours and public interaction
During the event, Yogi:
* Performed annaprashan rituals for children
* Interacted warmly with children dressed as Ramayana characters
* Appreciated local stalls and cultural exhibits
* Felicitated beneficiaries with cheques, certificates, house keys, funds for startups, farm equipment and Mission Shakti awards
Good governance means security, jobs and self-reliance”
Concluding his address, Yogi said,
“A good government brings development, employment, safety and self-reliance. The BJP’s double-engine government is fully committed to these goals for every citizen.”
With his thunderous message against rioters and promise of inclusive development, CM Yogi set a strong political tone ahead of the festive season and upcoming elections.
